fountains spatial’s ability to engage in a diversity of projects is rooted in the experience of its principals and leading GIS consultants—Austin Fisher and Larry Spraker. Together, they offer more than 40 years of combined professional experience in spatial technologies and application development. They are supported by an exceptionally well-qualified team of project managers, GIS analysts, and programmers drawn from the fields of computer science, engineering, geography, and urban planning.
 Larry Spraker, President
Larry manages the company's overall operations, is responsible for business development and long-term planning. Additionally, he leads the custom application development division of the company. He has over 20 years of professional experience in the GIS industry and is recognized as one of the nation's leading experts in the development of web-based GIS applications using ESRI technology. Prior to joining the firm, he held the position of Director of Geographic Information Systems for the NYS Parks Management and Research Institute. Larry has served on many advisory groups and conference steering committees. He has also been an adjunct faculty member at the State University of New York at Albany, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
 Austin Fisher, Vice President
Austin works closely with Larry in managing the company's overall operation, playing an active role in business development, and also leads the product development team. He has 20 years of professional experience in the GIS industry. Past experience includes positions as Manager of Computer Mapping for the New York City Planning Department, and Director of Data Products for MapInfo Corporation. He is actively involved in many GIS initiatives in New York State and has served on the steering committee for the annual NYS GIS Conference, chaired the NYS GIS Coordination Program’s Private Sector Advisory Group, and participated in many ad hoc work groups and committees. He has also taught GIS classes at Union College and the State University of New York at Albany.
